It's that time of the year!! Secured property tax bills are being mailed out for the 2026/2027 tax year.

If you have an impound or escrow account, meaning your monthly mortgage payment includes your property taxes but wonder if what you received is a bill or a copy, look right under the mailing address .... there will be a message box.... If you see "a lender has requested tax info", then what you received is a copy for your records

Always be on the look out for the word supplemental at the top. If you do see that, then that is NOT part of your normal yearly property tax bill. That is your responsibility to pay.

It's always a good idea to call your loan officer to ensure if what you received is a secured property tax bill or a supplemental tax bill.
