The holidays are just around the corner and with October almost behind us, the window to get your budget in order is getting smaller. 🎄 There are only a handful of paychecks standing between you and the holiday season, so if you haven't started planning yet, now is the time.
Start by thinking beyond the gifts. Travel, meals, decorations, events, and other seasonal expenses can add up fast. Look back at last year if you need a starting point, then set a total that works for your budget this year. Once you have that number, divide it across the paychecks you have left even small, consistent amounts set aside each payday can take the pressure off when the season arrives. The sooner you lock in your gift list, the better positioned you'll be to take advantage of fall sales before the rush hits. Your future self will thank you and so will your wallet.
