This past month, we wrapped up our 2026 Community Appreciation events! 💙✨

Mid-Missouri Bank and Springfield Livestock Marketing Center were proud to partner for the 2026 Mid-Missouri Ag Education Initiative! 🐮🌾

The Mid-Missouri Ag Education Initiative is designed to give local students a close-up look at the agricultural industry through hands-on learning experiences. Students had the opportunity to tour the sale barn, learn about fertilizer and pesticide drone applications, hear from a local veterinarian and perform a pregnancy check on a cow, and hear from Kyle Whittaker from Mizzou Extension. After rotating through all four stations, students participated in a mock cattle auction.

We were excited to host students from Ash Grove, Ava, Billings, Clever, Everton, Fair Grove, Nixa, Ozark, Republic, Rogersville, Walnut Grove, and Willard, as well as homeschooled students, providing a unique hands-on learning experience that highlighted the many career paths and opportunities available within the agricultural industry.
