I had the privilege of hosting a table at today’s event hosted by my friends at & Nevada State Prison Preservation Society Events like these remind me why I love what I do! Showing up for the community that helped shape me while providing free financial education and helping athletes protect their futures before they go pro.

The kids kept my table busy all day with the giant dart board, soccer balls, piggy banks, balloons and prizes. Even a few boxing coaches couldn’t resist taking their shot at the dart board! 😂

By the end of the event:
✅ 60 new community connections made
✅ 2 immediate need appointments scheduled
✅ Entries collected for a chance to win Reno Aces tickets or a year paid membership to Tazmanian Boxing Club
✅ $20,000 Scholarship opportunities shared for current and future high school juniors and seniors

I’ve been craving tamales for a good minute.

Tamales are one of my favorite foods.. especially when I don’t have to make them myself. 😂

Being in Reno for only a few years, I still haven’t found my tamale spot, so today I made the 70 mile round trip drive to Carson City for The Lady Tamales 🥰

I’ve been a loyal customer for over a decade and after all these years, they’re still my favorite when a tamale craving hits 🤤

Three dozen tamales later.. still no regrets. ❤️
