Financial planning can feel overwhelming sometimes. Life insurance, retirement, protecting your family, planning for the unexpected. My job is to make those conversations a little less intimidating and a lot more manageable.

Today my oldest, Manny, turns 15 years old. ❤️

As his mom, it has me thinking about two things that are at the heart of the work I do every day:

Our greatest ASSET is our ability to earn an income.
Our greatest HONOR is the opportunity to raise our children and prepare them for a future of their own.

Fifteen years ago, I became responsible for more than just myself. Since then, I’ve learned that providing for our children isn’t only about what we can give them today, it’s about what we’re preparing for them tomorrow.

Protecting the income our families depend on.
Planning for education and future opportunities. Teaching our children how money works. Building a financial foundation they can one day stand on and hopefully build even further.

As Manny turns 15 today, I’m reminded just how quickly those years go by. We only get so much time to prepare our children before they begin stepping into the world on their own.

My goal has never been simply to raise children who are financially provided for. It’s to raise young men who are financially prepared.

Happy 15th Birthday, Manny. ❤️

Reno said summer… but the weather said bring the trench coat. 😂☔️

Rain, hail, flash flooding, tornado warnings.. Northern Nevada really kept us on our toes today.

And ladies, if today reminded us of anything, it’s that life can change quickly.

We spend so much time making sure everyone else is taken care of. Our children, our families, our homes, our careers and part of taking care of them is making sure we have a plan too. We can’t prepare for every unexpected event. However, we can build a financial foundation designed around what matters most: protection, retirement, our children’s future and the legacy we leave behind.

Today was our New York Life Summer Sizzler! A day dedicated to celebrating last year’s accomplishments, recognizing top performers, honoring anniversaries, reflecting on opportunities for growth and setting the vision for our new business year, which officially began on July 1.

One of the highlights of the day was hearing from Dr. Rick Perea. As a world renowned performance psychologist, executive coach, and leadership expert, he has worked with organizations like Apple and Google, as well as numerous NFL, NBA, and MLB teams. He served as the performance psychologist for the Denver Broncos during their Super Bowl 50 championship season and has spent his career helping leaders, athletes and organizations perform at their highest level.

It was an unforgettable experience getting to hold the Vince Lombardi Trophy! The trophy awarded to the Super Bowl champions. As someone who loves sports and appreciates what it represents, that was a pretty incredible moment.

To top it all off, I had the opportunity to receive a signed copy of Dr. Perea’s book. It’s something I’ll definitely be diving into as I continue investing in my own growth. I truly believe that the more I learn, the better I can serve the individuals, families and business owners who place their trust in me. Here’s to another year of growth, learning, and making a meaningful impact 🙏
