🚨 STOP! DON’T SCROLL PAST THIS IF YOU EAT BLUEBERRIES! 🫐
First lettuce. Then jalapeños. Yesterday, rice. And now frozen blueberries?!
Publix has recalled all lots of GreenWise Organic Whole Blueberries and Whole Mixed Berries in the 10-ounce and 48-ounce packages because of possible E. coli contamination.
And before you say, “I bought mine months ago,” one recalled package has a best-by date in 2028! That means it could still be sitting quietly in your freezer, hiding behind the ice cream and minding everybody’s business but its own.
The affected products were distributed to Publix stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Do not eat the recalled berries. Throw them away or return them to Publix for a refund. Then wash anything they touched with hot, soapy water.
Please send this to your parents, grandparents, friends, and anyone thinking about buying or eating frozen berries. One share could keep someone out of the hospital.
At this rate, we may need permission before making a smoothie!
