🚨 Attention Landowners & Producers 🚨

USDA has begun notifying eligible landowners about potential additional base acres under the new ARC/PLC provisions. If you receive a Base Allocation Summary from FSA, it is important to review the information carefully and make any desired elections before August 31, 2026.

Landowners have the opportunity to review acreage history, make allocation decisions, or choose to opt out of receiving additional base acres. If no action is taken by the August 31 deadline, FSA will generally proceed with the allocation process using the information on file and automatically allocate any eligible additional base acres.

These decisions could impact your farm’s future participation in farm programs, so don’t overlook the information when it arrives.
