This role is really two jobs in one. You'll spend about 60% of your time as a Lead Financial Planner, managing your own set of high-net-worth clients, building financial plans, and coaching our Associate Financial Planners. The other 40% is Director of Client Operations, where you'll shape how our client service team gets its work done and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

We're looking for someone analytical, process-minded, and comfortable holding people to a standard. CFP® certification required. 5+ years as a client-facing financial planner required.

This role is open to remote candidates, with occasional trips to our Rapid City, SD office for team and client work.

Augustus recently joined KFG as an Investment Analyst, coming from the Wyoming Retirement System. He focuses on helping clients understand investment strategies and portfolio construction, bringing over two years of experience in the financial and operational industry.

He graduated from the University of Wyoming in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a minor in Accounting, has passed CFA Level 1, and plans to pursue the full designation.

Outside of work, Augustus and his wife, Jaclyn, enjoy hiking, camping, hunting, and relaxing in the mountains with their two dogs.
