One thing I love about working in insurance is that every conversation is different.

One day I’m helping a family protect their home. The next, I’m helping a business owner make sure everything they’ve worked so hard to build is protected.

I’ve learned that insurance isn’t really about policies, it’s about people.

My goal is never to be “just the insurance agent.” I want to be someone my clients feel comfortable calling with questions, long before a claim ever happens.

Building trust and relationships will always matter more to me than making a sale.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to help people protect what matters most.

Roof Age Matters More Than You Think.

Your roof is 15 years old.
A hailstorm hits.
Replacement cost = $20,000.

With Replacement Cost coverage, insurance pays the $20,000 (minus your deductible).

With Actual Cash Value or a Limited Roof Schedule, depreciation is applied.

That same roof might only pay out $8,000–$12,000.

You’re responsible for the rest.

Many carriers reduce roof coverage once it hits 10–15 years old.

The good news? Some of the carriers I work with still offer full replacement cost options.

What is Inland Marine Coverage?

Despite the name, it has nothing to do with boats.

Inland Marine covers tools, equipment, and business property that travel with you, or are stored away from your main business location.

That includes:
• Equipment at a job site
• Tools locked in your truck
• A parked trailer used for storage

If your trailer gets stolen or tools disappear overnight, your general liability policy typically does NOT cover that.

Contractors, landscapers, and small business owners often need this and don’t realize it.

Auto Insurance Myth: “Full Coverage” means I’m covered for everything.

There’s actually no such thing as “full coverage.”

Most people mean they carry:
• Liability
• Comprehensive
• Collision

But that does NOT automatically include:
• Rental coverage
• Gap coverage
• Roadside assistance
• Higher liability limits (this is the big one)

If you cause a serious accident, state minimum liability limits are often nowhere near enough to protect you.

“Full coverage” doesn’t mean fully protected.

Serious accidents can exceed standard policy limits faster than most people realize.
