Evergreen Money Source Mortgage Company NMLS 3182
Equal Housing Lender My career in the mortgage industry started 23 years ago.

I’m proud to be the producing Branch Manager of your local Evergreen Home Loans™ in Poulsbo. I take pride in offering customized home financing solutions to help a variety of clients. My primary focus is to provide affordable options that make sense for Clients’ individual situation while providing excellent service. Along with my team, we strive to make the lending process as simple and streamlined as possible. After earning my degree from the University of Washington, I moved to Poulsbo and worked as a loan processor. In 2004, I became a junior underwriter, and in 2006, I transitioned into the role of loan officer. With experience in multiple areas of mortgage lending, I’m equipped with a unique skillset to help clients with their home financing needs. Whether its helping homebuyers become homeowners, helping clients finance the construction of a new home, assisting investors with creating a portfolio of investment properties, or helping homeowners save money with refinancing, I take pride in adhering to the highest ethical lending standards while delivering exceptional customer service. Native to the Pacific Northwest, my husband and I settled our roots here in Poulsbo, WA with our two beautiful boys who attended Kitsap schools and remained active in local sports: Baseball, Soccer, Track & Field, Lacrosse and their favorite, Hockey. Supporting my community, I continue to remain active in the Kitsap Community as a board member of both the Poulsbo Chamber of Commerce and the North Kitsap Schools Foundation as well as a current member of the Kingston Chamber of Commerce and The Homebuilder’s Association. Additionally, I stay involved with the Kingston Rotary Club, The Historical Downtown Poulsbo Associations, The Navy League and PTSA so I can volunteer whenever there is a need. Feel free to reach out and discuss how my knowledge and background can best serve you!

Mortgage rates are the definition of mixed signals.

Realtor.com continues to point to volatility tied to economic news and movement in the bond market, which means rates can change direction quickly. A strong homebuying plan accounts for that movement alongside your budget, timeline, loan options, and overall goals. If buying is on your radar, send me a message and we can talk through what makes sense for your situation.

Getting ready to buy usually starts well before the house hunt. Credit, savings, preapproval, insurance, appraisal, and offer strategy can all shape what happens when the right property shows up, so I'd rather help you understand those pieces early than figure them out under pressure.

If homeownership is on your radar, let's see where your plan stands.

According to Realtor.com, active housing inventory is nearing 1.2 million homes nationwide, the highest level since November 2019. That means buyers may have more homes to consider than they've had in years.

When I work with buyers, more inventory gives us more to work with. It can open up possibilities around location, features, price point, and the kind of home that actually fits what you're looking for.

If buying has been sitting on the back burner, this could be a good time to see what's available in your area and run the numbers with me.

2008 comparisons miss one major number: homeowner equity.

Back then, equity and mortgage debt were nearly even. Today, homeowners hold $34.9 trillion in equity compared with $14.4 trillion in mortgage debt. That gap gives many homeowners a meaningful cushion and more options if selling becomes necessary.

If crash fears have kept you waiting, let's look at what's happening in our local market and talk through what a move could mean for you.

Your home may already be holding part of the answer.

A home equity line of credit, or HELOC, allows eligible homeowners to borrow against available equity as expenses come up. It works as a revolving line, so you draw what you need rather than receiving the full amount at once. That flexibility can be useful for renovations or another major planned expense.

Your home secures the line, and rates or terms may vary, so the details matter. Send me a message and let's see whether a HELOC makes sense for your plans.
