We released a free called which lets webmasters make removing outdated content on aggregators easy. If your content contains links to the original source of the content (which it always should) users will have the option to click a button that will delete the post from your site if the source URL returns a 404 error code or a 301 code provided the destination of the 301 is a 404 page.
