Recently, Trellis board and staff leadership came together for a half-day strategic planning retreat to discuss our future, strengthen our shared vision, and identify opportunities to expand our impact in the communities we serve.

Facilitated by Marcos Morales, the retreat encouraged thoughtful conversations about our priorities and the work ahead as we continue advancing affordable housing, homeownership, and community development across Arizona.

Thank you to Marcos for leading the session and to our board and staff for their commitment to our mission. We look forward to putting these ideas into action.

🏡 Join Trellis as we celebrate NeighborWorks America Week and a major milestone in the Garfield Neighborhood!

On June 3, we will host an Open House Celebration marking the completion of the first three homes in our 10-home infill development project. These homes represent new opportunities for families to achieve homeownership while helping strengthen one of Phoenix's historic neighborhoods.

Community members, partners, and supporters are invited to tour the homes, learn more about the project, and celebrate the power of neighborhood investment and collaboration.

Trellis staff will be available to answer questions about homeownership education, lending services, and real estate development programs.

We are proud to share that Trellis President & CEO, Brenda Lopez, is in Washington, D.C. this week attending the National NeighborWorks America Executive Symposium alongside fellow leaders from NeighborWorks America organizations across the country.

On Wednesday, during National NeighborWorks America Legislative Day, Brenda joined Joe Garcia from Chicanos Por La Causa on Capitol Hill to advocate for homeownership and affordable housing with Arizona representatives, including Yassamin Ansari, Juan Ciscomani, Mark Kelly, Rubén Gallego, and Adelita Grijalva.
