❤️ Let’s Help Jason Eat Without Pain ❤️

Many of you have seen me post about Jason recently.

Jason is the maintenance man at my storefront. He is special needs and one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. He’s always the first to offer help, always willing to lend a hand, and always hoping he’s done a good job.

When I moved, people told me they would help and didn’t show up. Jason did.

Jason only has a few teeth remaining, and eating many foods is painful for him. The same dentist in Los Algodones who gave me my smile is the dentist we’re planning to use for Jason. A set of dentures is approximately $500, and he will also need several extractions, medications, and follow up care. I will be taking him.

I’ve started a GoFundMe with a goal of $1,000 to help cover his treatment and give him something most of us take for granted, the ability to eat without pain.

🚨 This is where most business owners find out they’re not actually covered.

Let me clear something up because I think a lot of people genuinely don’t understand how this works.

Insurance brokers and agents do NOT set your rates. We do NOT approve rate increases. We do NOT add random fees to your policy.

We are the middleman between you and the insurance carrier.

The carrier files their rates with the state. They decide the pricing. They decide when they increase it. They decide underwriting rules. We do not get a vote.

As independent agents, we work for YOU, not the insurance company. Our job is to shop the market, explain your coverage, and make sure you’re protected properly.

We get paid a small commission directly from the carrier. I do not charge personal clients extra fees. When rates go up, we don’t get some secret bonus. In fact, most of the time we’re just as frustrated as you are.

Right now, the entire insurance industry is experiencing increases. It’s not personal. It’s not based only on your driving record. It’s happening across the board.

Trust me… we are not sitting behind a desk plotting $20 increases. We are at the carrier’s mercy on rate filings just like you are.

What we CAN do:
