We all work hard and collaborate whenever we can to take care of our clients. This evening was about enjoying some time together—bowling, food, drinks, and plenty of laughs.

🏠 Insurance shouldn’t be the reason a mortgage deal falls apart.

As an independent insurance advisor, I have access to multiple carriers, which gives me more options when pricing, underwriting requirements, or coverage concerns threaten to delay a closing.

I always prefer to get involved early. More time allows me to carefully compare carriers, explain the options to the buyer, and make sure the coverage is the right fit—not simply the fastest option.

But real estate doesn’t always go according to plan.

When a problem comes up at the last minute, my mortgage partners know they can count on me to respond quickly, explore every reasonable option, take care of their clients, and help get the deal to the closing table.

That’s what being a trusted partner is all about.

Being a better insurance advisor means continuing to learn.

Today, I’m spending the day in AI training put on by EA Lewis & Associates and , exploring how to better use these tools to serve our clients at MAC Insurance Group.

My goal is to find practical ways to work more efficiently, communicate more clearly, and make more time for the conversations that help clients understand their coverage.

Not every potential client is the right fit for a new policy with me—and that’s okay.

A referral partner recently asked me to help one of their clients. After reviewing the situation, I could have placed them with a new provider. But the better recommendation was to stay where they were and add the endorsement they needed through their current provider.

My job is to help people make the right insurance decision, even when that means I don’t earn their business.
