Dr. Joshua Shuh is a board certified Family Practice physician who owns and operates Community Direct Care. Community Direct Care is a direct primary care practice. What that means is that you pay a small monthly membership fee to be a patient. With that fee comes many benefits. These include direct access to your physician between the hours of 5am and 7pm Monday-Saturday, medications and labs at cost, zero wait times, and same day appointments if needed.

In this life there are many relationships in which you expect the person to be there for you - a spouse, a best friend, a sibling. Dr. Shuh believes that one of these relationships should be your physician. Community Direct Care - “We’re there for you.”

What business(es) do you know that doesn’t offer any benefits? Or think they’re too expensive offer?

Employee Pay Increase VS Offer Benefits
1)What would employees choose?

More often than not we’d assume they’d choose the pay increase because that’s more 💸💸💸 in their paycheck. BUT if you were injured or sick, or worst case scenario no longer here. Would that pay increase have mattered?

On the employer side, let’s talk the financial, let’s say the employee works 25 hours a week, and you have them a .25/hr raise. So you’re paying that employee $6.25 more before taxes are taken out.
What if you took that $6.25 you would have paid them & paid for an employee benefit instead? AND that benefit was pre-taxable, now saving you money as well on your F**A. OHH and now you’re also able to write off that benefit on your business taxes.

Benefits are sometimes better than payable cash. An Accident plan: pays the policyowner cash for things such as: wellness checkup, X-ray, ER admissions, bone fractures, physical therapy, etc
