What a great way to start the day!

Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning for the PBA's June Coffee & Conversations Breakfast Mixer at SECU Financial Center on Jumpers Hole Road. It was a wonderful morning of networking, conversation, and building new connections with fellow business and community leaders. Whether you were reconnecting with familiar faces or meeting someone new, these gatherings are a great reminder of the strength and support within Pasadena's business community.

A special thank you to Maria Sefiani, Financial Center Manager at SECU, for graciously hosting us and welcoming our members into such a beautiful space.

We're also grateful to Rumor Has It Catering and Event Planning for providing a fantastic breakfast spread, and to Julie Magaha of sweetersidebakeshopmd for surprising everyone with a delicious box of homemade truffles that were the perfect sweet treat to wrap up the morning.

This past weekend, the PBA was proud to take part in Downs Park Community Day! It was a wonderful afternoon spent out in the community connecting with local residents, businesses, and families while celebrating everything that makes our area so special.

A big thank you to Dotti Snyder, Cheryl Schwabline, and the entire Downs Park team for organizing such a fantastic annual event and bringing the community together once again.

Be sure to support the Friends of Downs Park, Inc. by checking out their Bayside Concert Series this summer! Held on select Sunday evenings, these free concerts are open to the public and are a great way to enjoy live music by the water with family and friends.

What a great afternoon at our June PBA General Membership Meeting!

Thank you to Twain's Tavern for hosting us and to all of our members and guests who joined us for an afternoon of networking, learning, and community updates.

We were excited to hear from Sue Molchan, Career Connected Learning Facilitator for Chesapeake and Northeast High Schools, and Thomas Dickinson, Internship Facilitator for CAT North, about the many ways local businesses can connect with Anne Arundel County Public Schools through internships, work based learning, and apprenticeship opportunities for students.

We also heard an update from Lieutenant Sweeney with Anne Arundel County’s Eastern District Police Station.

Thank you to everyone who continues to help strengthen connections between our business community, schools, and local organizations.

Reminder: There will be no General Membership Meeting in July. Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 5. Location to be announced!
