💧 DID YOU KNOW?

Water damage and flood damage are NOT the same thing when it comes to insurance coverage.

A standard homeowners policy may cover certain types of sudden and accidental water damage....like a burst pipe or an appliance leak.
Flooding from rising or surface water is typically NOT covered by your homeowners policy and requires separate flood coverage.

Knowing the difference before you have a loss can save you from a very expensive surprise.
