Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City, in partnership with the Health Forward Foundation, is offering up to $10,000 in down payment assistance for eligible first-time homebuyers who are currently under contract. Funds must be reserved while you are under contract, and reservations open on October 28th.
To qualify, applicants must:
• Be a first-time homebuyer
• Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• Purchase a home in Jackson, Platte, or Clay County (Missouri) or Leavenworth, Wyandotte, or Johnson County (Kansas)
• Have a debt-to-income ratio of 45% or less
• Meet the following household income limits:
• 1 person: $63,500
• 2 people: $72,600
• 3 people: $81,650
• 4 people: $90,700
• 5 people: $98,000
