From saxophones to restoring classic cars, meet Ernie Pantoja!
Four years into his journey at HomeTown Bank, Ernie Pantoja has become known as much for his steady presence on the teller line as for his ability to solve problems behind the scenes. In this episode of the HomeTown Podcast, Ernie shares what it was like growing up in Oneonta, how music shaped his high school years, and why he enjoys the challenge of both banking and rebuilding classic cars piece by piece.
A lifelong Blount County local, Ernie talks about attending Appalachian High School, serving as drum major during his senior year, and developing a love for puzzles, whether that’s through video games, diagnosing banking issues, or restoring old Pontiacs and Corvettes in the garage.
