The Okanogan-Omak Rotary Club Foundation would like to announce the awarding of scholarships totaling $19,750.00 benefiting students of Wenatchee Valley College-North (Omak Campus) for the academic year 2026-2027. Funds for these scholarships come from two sources within the Okanogan-Omak Rotary Club Foundation: General Foundation Account $9,000 and Catherine Rawson Nursing Scholarship Account $10,250. The Rotary Club is committed to “CREATE LASTING IMPACTS”
The recipients reside throughout Okanogan and Douglas County with the scholarships being open to any enrolled Wenatchee Valley College-North student. The awarded funds may be used for various needs or incidentals, including but not limited to, books, tuition, childcare, transportation or similar needs to enable the applicant to pursue their college education.
The Catherine Rawson Nursing Scholarship is awarded to a student enrolled in the Registered Nursing Program or pursuing a BSN degree.

The scholarship were awarded to the following individuals:

- Ashley Hernanzez – Oroville
- Irene Adem – Omak
- Emma Chilcote – Okanogan
- Thomas Goodison – Omak
- Morgan Branter – Omak
- Tara Marchand – Omak
- Jazmine LeDuc – Bridgeport
- Ann Oppenheimer - Okanogan

The Okanogan-Omak Rotary Club Foundation is a charitable, tax deductible entity administered by the Okanogan-Omak Rotary Club (meets every Thursday at noon at Omak Elks). The Foundation is active in awarding scholarships to individuals pursuing careers in multiple and diverse endeavors including academic, vocational, and the trades. Rotary Steak Night Fundraiser Applications Are Open!

Is your group looking for a fun way to raise money for a local project? Partner with the Okanogan‑Omak Rotary Club for a steak night partnership!

We’re now accepting applications from nonprofits and community organizations to host a night and earn funds for your cause.

Dates are open for February 10, 2027, April 28, 2027 and June 16, 2027

Tonight the Rotary Club of Okanogan-Omak has had the privilege of serving firefighters ice cream on these warm days as a thank you for all their hard work and sacrifice for Okanogan county. We want to extend a HUGE amount of gratitude to those who are working hard to keep our county safe.

The Rotary Club of Okanogan-Omak's next round of scholarships is now open. Our Wenatchee Valley College scholarship applications are available on our website: https://okanogan-omakrotary.org/scholarship.php

There are two applications available for the 2026-27 academic year at the Omak Campus. The first scholarship is open to any and all WVC-North students with an amount of up to $9,000 to be awarded.

The second scholarship is the Catherine Rawson Nursing Scholarship in the amount of $5,000 to be awarded to student(s) enrolled in the Registered Nursing Program or pursing a BSN degree.
