The Social Security Administration has an assistance program called Extra Help/Low Income Subsidy (LIS) designed to specifically help with Medicare prescription drug costs for those who are eligible.
It is easier to qualify for than Medicaid so even if you don't qualify for Medicaid, applying for Extra Help is definitely worth a try!
