We're proud to support the Potter Park Zoo's new Animal Health Facility, designed to expand capacity for veterinary treatment and education. The space includes a larger X-ray unit and advanced dental radiography technology, allowing veterinarians to detect dental disease and lesions, improving the animals' quality of life across the zoo.

The facility is also designed for education with public viewing areas and in-room cameras that showcase animal care in real time, inspiring guests to learn more about veterinary medicine and careers in oral health.

At the MSU Teddy Bear Health Fair, children joined Delta Dental of Michigan for hands-on oral health lessons. They practiced brushing techniques and learned how to keep their teeth healthy.

We're proud to participate in Mission of Mercy, a free clinic hosted by the Michigan Dental Association Foundation, June 12–13 at Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo. Congratulations to Janisha Rathod of Novi Meadows School, recipient of the 2026 Delta Dental of Michigan Grand Prize Award, for creating, "Disease Defenders," a smartphone app that uses AI to help users spot potential signs of gum disease at home and know when to seek care.
