Did you hear about her/him? I can't believe he/she would leave their family & friends in that situation!

WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THEIR SITUATION? DID you HEAR the angst in their voice when they told you everything is "fine"? DID you even question why they don't hang out or call you anymore? Have you been so busy with yourself that you "didn't even notice"?

Su***de is NOT an accident - it's not something just for the "nutcase" or "mentally ill" - it's a result of hopelessness & utter loneliness.

IF you really care - act like it. Check in, ask questions without expecting answers, show up without expecting fanfare - show them how much you care. Or don't & attend a "memorial"
