Does your gym policy actually cover BJJ?

Most basic general liability policies were not written for combat sports. The gaps usually show up in the same four places:

✅ Students rolling and sparring
✅ Independent 1099 and guest coaches
✅ Open mats, seminars and competitions
✅ Accident medical when a student gets hurt

General liability and accident medical are not the same thing. If a student tears a knee on your mats, one of those pays and the other does not.
