Serving adults age 60 and over—Marin County’s fastest growing population—and people with disabilities, Vivalon has advanced health, well-being, and quality of life for more than 70 years. With the opening of its Healthy Aging Campus in 2024, Vivalon expanded its longstanding role as a hub for connection and community. Alongside trusted transportation and nutrition services, Vivalon offers wellness and movement classes, arts and recreation, digital literacy, and evidence based falls prevention programs, all designed to help people build confidence, reduce isolation, and maintain independence.

We’re thankful for Vivalon’s commitment to making healthy aging a shared community responsibility and for the positive impact they create for thousands of older adults across Marin County.

From the economy to the football field, there was plenty to talk about at Bank of Marin’s Economic Outlook in Sacramento!

Dr. Sanjay Varshney shared his perspective on the economy, followed by a fireside chat with former New York Jets quarterback Ken O’Brien.

Beyond the insights shared from the stage, the evening was an opportunity to connect with our clients, bring members of the Sacramento business community together and strengthen the relationships that are at the heart of how we do business. Creating opportunities to exchange ideas, make connections and learn from one another is one more way we strive to deliver value beyond banking.

Our annual Family Picnic is one of our favorite opportunities to bring together the people we work with every day and the families we hear so much about. And what better way to do it than with a day of sunshine, swimming, bocce ball, face painting, a bounce house, great food, and music by Jason Weeks?

It’s ! Each week, we’re spotlighting nonprofits supported through Bank of Marin’s grants and the difference they make locally.

As we mark the final day of Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re proud to spotlight Corazón Healdsburg, a trusted community partner dedicated to building a compassionate and just community where all families can thrive.

Since 2016, Corazón Healdsburg has empowered low income, predominantly Latino families across northern Sonoma County through holistic, bilingual services grounded in dignity, equity, and cultural responsiveness. Each year, Corazón supports more than 1,200 families through education, health and wellbeing programs, and family economic success initiatives.

The Bank’s grant will support Corazón’s cradle to career educational programs, which help children reach developmental milestones, prepare for college, and pursue meaningful careers—while equipping parents with the tools to advocate for their children’s education and future.

We’re thankful for organizations like Corazón Healdsburg that celebrate culture, strengthen families, and create lasting pathways to opportunity and generational change in our communities.
