Last week, a group of us traveled to Richmond to prepare and serve dinner for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House—families whose children are receiving care at nearby hospitals. With the house currently at full capacity, it was truly meaningful to provide a warm, homemade meal during such a challenging time.
The evening was filled with connection, compassion, and gratitude as we cooked together in their kitchen and listened to the families’ stories. Moments like these remind us how powerful a simple act of kindness can be.
