This NAF home buyer went from unqualified for a mortgage to closing on their home in six months! This buyer was self-employed and had plenty of income, but needed help getting his credit score up. His loan officer sent him to our friends at Uqual to work with him on getting loan ready, helping him go from a "no" to a "not yet" to closing on his new home!

As some of you know, our region, New American Funding MidSouth, helped put together a team for the Wounded Warrior Project Carry Forward 5k a couple Saturdays ago. We call ourselves the American Dream Team. And WHAT a team we had!! We had 74 people join our team which was over double from last year. We were wanting to raise $5,000 this year and ended up raising $7,339! With these funds we are providing 49 hours of mental health services to a wounded warrior alumni at no cost to them, or it will provide seven adaptive warriors the opportunity to attend an adaptive sports camp for a week with their caregiver at no cost.

Our Region Marketing Coordinator, Lisa McDonald, put together a short video of the event. We have to say a HUGE shout out to John St. Clair Photography for coming to the event and taking pictures and video footage for us! We wouldn't have this video without all of his help! Thank you also to Eric LaVoie with All American Athletics, and Jeff and Christie Roy with Roy Meat Service for your sponsorships!
