The dates previously listed reflected the Southeast Regional Conference in error. Our TAAR Conference tentative dates (pending final hotel contract) are:

Tennessee is NOT associated with the Southeast Regional Conference for 2026. TAAR is not a host, planning, or supporting state as a collective group.

TAAR will be hosting our own conference right here in Tennessee, and we look forward to bringing everyone together soon.

Fuel costs continue to rise—and it’s not slowing down.

This is exactly why now, more than ever, it’s critical that we come together as an industry. Not individually, not competitively—but collectively as ONE.

We cannot ignore the impact these increases have on operations, sustainability, and service quality. The answer isn’t silence—it’s communication.

It’s time to sit down with our clients, have real conversations, and work toward solutions that support both sides. Transparency, collaboration, and mutual understanding are the only way forward in this economy.

Tennessee gas prices rose three cents, on average, over the last week, according to AAA. Higher crude prices and global tensions continue to drive volatility, with costs up sharply from last month and year.

Recap

This week has been a reminder of why showing up matters.

Following the States Panel on Wednesday, we’ve continued having meaningful conversations with clients around inflation, rising costs, and real solutions for the industry. These weren’t surface-level discussions — these were productive, forward-moving conversations that will continue beyond this conference.

There is no substitute for face-to-face interaction. That’s where real relationships are built, and that’s exactly what happened here. We’re proud to share that we welcomed two new TAAR members during NARS — relationships that started right here through those in-person conversations.
