If you are receiving things like this in the mail, it is NOT from your mortgage company. These are solicitations to try to get you to buy expensive insurances, warranties, etc not affiliated with your mortgage servicer. They get your information from public records, and put deceptive wording on their solicitations to make it look like it’s something sent from who you pay your mortgage to. Don’t be fooled - look for a logo, read the fine print, or call your mortgage servicer to verify if you’re still not sure. I could go on and on about how gross these solicitors are and cannot believe they don’t see anything wrong with their deceptive practices.

If you do want some type of extra life insurance, I highly recommend talking to an established insurance company you know. You work hard for your money, make sure it’s going to somewhere you know and understand what you’re purchasing.
