Some people come into your life for a season.
Some people become part of your story.
One year ago today, Taylar walked through the doors of The Rendel Agency for her first day. Looking back now, I don't think she realizes just how much of a blessing she has beenānot only to my business, but to me personally.
When you own a small business, it's never just about selling insurance. It's about building something you can be proud of. It's about serving people the right way. It's about creating a place where customers feel like family and where the people you work alongside become family too.
That doesn't happen because of one person.
It happens because God places the right people in your path.
Over this last year, I've watched Taylar treat every customer with kindness, every challenge with determination, and every day with a smile. She celebrated the victories with me, pushed through the stressful moments with me, and somehow managed to make even the busiest days a little lighter. She's handled the busy days, the crazy days, the "did that really just happen?" insurance days (and trust me... there have been a few š), all with a smile.
There are days when running a business feels heavy. There are days you question yourself, wonder if you're making the right decisions, and carry burdens no one else ever sees.
Then someone like Taylar shows up every morning making the coffee just perfect, ready to give her best, and reminds you why you keep going.
She'll probably roll her eyes when she reads this because she doesn't like being the center of attention... but she deserves every bit of it today.
Taylar, thank you for believing in this little agency. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for caring for our customers as if they were your own family. Thank you for the countless things you do that nobody ever sees, and for never asking for recognition while doing them.
You aren't "just an employee."
You're part of my family... seriously thoā¦
I truly believe God knew exactly what He was doing when He brought you here a year ago.
So today, we're celebrating far more than an anniversary on the calendar. We're celebrating one year of trust... one year of friendship... one year of laughter and lots of it... one year of serving others together... and one year that has helped shape what The Rendel Agency is becoming.
