After 15 years in the financial services industry and an already successful career, Stefan Tunaru wasn’t looking for just another firm.

He was looking for something he felt had been missing.
A family feeling. A personal touch. More flexibility. And the ability to offer more financial solutions to the clients he serves.

Stefan explored several opportunities, but after his first conversation with Evolution Financial Group, he says he knew: “This was the place to be.”

A big part of that decision was Evolution President David Jacowitz. Stefan connected with David’s leadership style, but what stood out most was how genuinely he cared about his people.

That was exactly the kind of environment Stefan was looking for—one where leadership felt personal, people mattered, and there was a true sense of family.

And what surprised him most after joining Evolution?
Nothing.

Because everything he had been told about the culture, leadership, and support turned out to be exactly what he experienced.
“It was all the truth. It wasn’t just a sales pitch.”

Today, Stefan continues to grow his business while serving business owners and clients across multiple states and internationally. He also credits the experienced professionals around him and Evolution’s systems and resources with making it easier to do business and continue growing.

When we asked him to sum up Why Evolution in one thought, his answer said it all:
💙 “Because they’re number one. Because they’re human in terms of heart.”

That’s Why Evolution.

🐾 Apparently financial dependents can have four legs.
Food. Treats. Vet bills. Grooming. Boarding. Toys.

And, of course, the completely unnecessary dog bed they refuse to sleep in.

In honor of National Dog Day, we're celebrating some very important members of the Evolution family - and possibly some of the cutest line items in the monthly budget. 😂

But there's actually a financial point hiding in here:
The things we care about become part of our financial lives.

A financial strategy isn't only about retirement or some far-off goal. It's also about building a life today that makes room for the people, experiences - and yes, pets - that matter to you.

So today, we're putting the serious financial conversations aside for one question:
🐶 What's the most ridiculous thing you've ever spent money on for your dog?

We want to hear it. 👇

Happy National Dog Day from Evolution Financial Group! 🐾

MEET THE FINANCIAL PROFESSIONAL 👋

Meet Sam Flamma III, Financial Professional at Evolution Financial Group.
For Sam, financial services has always been close to home. His father works in finance, his uncle Dan is part of Evolution, and while still in college, Sam had the opportunity to intern right here at EFG.

Those early relationships ultimately helped bring him back to Evolution, where he'll celebrate two years very soon.

Today, Sam especially enjoys working with individuals and newer families going through major life changes - getting married, having children, building a family, and thinking more seriously about protecting what they're creating.

And there's one word at the center of how Sam approaches those relationships: Trust.

He knows talking about money isn't always easy. His goal is to be someone people can talk to openly, rely on when they need help, and trust to guide them as they make decisions for themselves.

Outside of Evolution, you'll probably find Sam with his dog Harper, rooting for the Eagles, golfing or fishing, spending time at Brigantine Beach, or trying a new restaurant somewhere in Philly or Atlantic City.

🥍 And fun fact: Sam also played DIII lacrosse.

For Sam, building a successful business starts with something much bigger than numbers: Building relationships people can count on.

We're glad to have Sam as part of Team Evolution!

Looking wealthy and building wealth are two very different things.

The house. The car. The trips. The dinners.
Those are the things we can see.

What we can’t see?
- The debt.
- The investments.
- The savings.
- The responsibilities.
- The goals.
- The strategy behind it all.

Which is exactly why someone else’s lifestyle is a pretty terrible benchmark for your financial success.

Maybe wealth, for you, means having choices.
Maybe it’s retiring on your terms.
Maybe it’s taking care of your family.
Maybe it’s building something you can pass down.
Maybe it’s simply knowing your money has a purpose.

So forget everyone else for a second.
👇 What does wealth look like to YOU?

And if you’re ready to build a financial strategy around your answer, let’s start the conversation.

🎒 BACK TO SCHOOL: FINANCIAL EDITION

Think you know your money? Time for a quick Myth vs. Fact pop quiz. ✏️

MYTH OR FACT: You need a lot of money before you can start investing.

MYTH OR FACT: Making more money automatically means building more wealth.

MYTH OR FACT: Financial planning is only for people approaching retirement.

The reality? Building a strong financial future isn't about waiting until you earn more, reach a certain age, or hit a specific milestone.

It's about understanding your options, building good habits, and making informed decisions along the way.

Because while you may be done with school...

You're never done learning about your finances. 🎓

💬 MEET THE FINANCIAL PROFESSIONAL: Matthew Hagopian

“Do I have a good amount of money for someone my age?”

It’s an easy question to ask - especially when it feels like everyone around you is hitting different financial milestones.

For this edition of Meet the Financial Professional, we asked Evolution Financial Group Financial Professional Matthew to share his perspective.

His answer? “Good is in the eye of the beholder.”

What looks “good” for one person might look completely different for someone else.

Different lifestyles.
Different responsibilities.
Different priorities.
Different goals.

Instead of comparing your finances to someone else your age, Matthew believes the better question is: Am I on the right path toward my financial goals?

As Matthew puts it: “That’s part of my job - helping you see where you are today and whether you’re on the right path toward your financial goals.”

At Evolution Financial Group, we believe financial success is personal. Our financial professionals take the time to understand the person behind the numbers and help build strategies around what matters to them.

Because it’s not about keeping up with everyone else.

It’s about making progress toward the life you want.

Meet the Financial Professional: Darren Wittman

From Wall Street to business ownership to Evolution Financial Group, Darren Wittman’s career has given him experience across many sides of the financial world.

Darren began his career as a stockbroker in New York in 2001 before continuing his career in financial services at JPMorgan Chase. He later spent more than a decade owning a Farmers Insurance agency before his growing interest in life insurance and financial strategy eventually brought him to Evolution.

But for Darren, the importance of life insurance goes far beyond his professional experience. He experienced its impact firsthand during one of the most difficult moments in his own family's life.

After his father passed away, Darren was the one who handled his father's life insurance policy and ultimately handed the benefit check to his mother. It was a moment he'll never forget - and one that gave him a deeply personal understanding of what a life insurance policy can mean to a family when they need it most.

That experience continues to influence the way Darren works with clients today.

His favorite part of what he does? Getting to know people.

Darren loves learning what motivates his clients, what matters most to their families, and what they hope to accomplish - then helping create strategies tailored to those goals.

Today, he works with attorneys, retirees, families and business owners, with a particular interest in cash-value life insurance strategies.

And why Evolution?

For Darren, it came down to independence, camaraderie and teamwork. The opportunity to collaborate with other financial professionals while maintaining the independence to serve his clients made Evolution feel like the right fit. His dear friend, Sam Consolazio, played a big role in him deciding to join Evolution. He loved the family aspect of Evolution, and he could tell everyone, from leadership to his co-workers, were excited to be there. We're proud to have Darren as part of the Evolution family!

Say hello to Darren! 👋

When markets are moving, it can be tempting to wait.

Wait for things to settle down.
Wait for the “right” time to invest.

Wait until the headlines feel a little less uncertain.

The problem? The perfect time is nearly impossible to predict.

Building long-term wealth isn't about guessing exactly when the market will rise or fall. It's about having a financial plan, staying consistent, and giving your money time to work.

Markets will fluctuate.
Headlines will change.
Uncertainty will come and go.
But your long-term goals shouldn't change every time the market does.

That's where working with a financial advisor can make a difference - helping you keep short-term market movements in perspective while staying focused on the bigger picture.

Because wealth usually isn't built through one perfectly timed decision.
It's built through consistent decisions made over time.

👉 Save this one for the next time the headlines have you questioning your long-term strategy.

📸 THEN & NOW: BOB BOSWELL

22 years. A career change. And a lot of lessons learned along the way.

For our latest Then & Now, we're featuring Bob Boswell, who has been part of the organization for 22 years and has had a front-row seat to its growth and evolution.

Bob came to the financial services industry after a career in IT, but the philosophy that's guided him throughout his career is simple:

Put yourself in the other person's shoes.

For Bob, every conversation starts with understanding what someone is looking for, how he can help, and how he would want to be treated if the roles were reversed.

And after more than two decades in the business, he's learned a few things:

➡️ 80% of the job is showing up.

➡️ Do what you say you're going to do.

➡️ Follow up and keep people in the loop.

➡️ Communicate clearly.

➡️ Don't take everything personally.

➡️ And above all, treat people the way you'd want to be treated.

When Bob looks at Evolution today, one thing especially stands out: Leadership.

After watching leaders come and go throughout his career, Bob says Dave Jacowitz's commitment to the people of Evolution is something he deeply appreciates - from continually looking for ways to make doing business easier to making sure the team has the tools and resources they need to succeed.

His advice to those just beginning their careers? Stick with it.

There will be peaks and valleys. Success doesn't always happen immediately. Give yourself the opportunity to learn, grow, and surround yourself with people who know more than you do.

Today, Bob has found his niche working with people in or nearing retirement - but some of his greatest accomplishments have happened outside the office.

❤️ Married for 58 years
❤️ 3 children
❤️ 12 grandchildren
❤️ And 2 great-grandchildren

Now THAT is a legacy.

We're grateful for the 22 years Bob has spent as part of this organization - and for the experience, perspective, and relationships he's brought with him along the way. Here's to many more chapters ahead!

💬 ASK AN ADVISOR Series 💬

“After a divorce, how do I know if I’m going to be financially okay?”

For this edition of "Ask an Advisor", we turned to Evolution Financial Group Advisor Jillian Jones to answer a question that often comes with a lot of uncertainty and emotion.

For Jillian, the first thing she wants clients to know is simple: “You’re not going to have to figure this out alone.”

She understands there can be a lot of fear behind that question - especially when you're adjusting to a new financial reality after a divorce.

Jillian's approach starts with helping clients understand what they can comfortably spend, where their income is coming from, and what their financial strategy looks like moving forward.

But for her, that's only the beginning.

As Jillian explains, when life changes, the strategy adjusts. When the markets change, you talk. And when you're nervous about a big purchase, you have someone to call.

Her goal isn't to hand someone a strategy and send them on their way. It's to build a relationship for the long term - navigating decisions together so clients can feel more comfortable and confident living their lives.

And that's exactly the kind of relationship we believe in at Evolution Financial Group.

Our advisors understand that financial strategy isn't static. Life evolves, circumstances change, and having someone in your corner can make all the difference. Whatever it is, we are here for you.
