Happy Labor Day from Rio Bank! 🇺🇸

Today, we celebrate the hardworking individuals who help our communities grow and thrive every day. From teachers and healthcare workers to small business owners, first responders, farmers, and everyone who puts in the work to make a difference, thank you for all that you do.

In observance of Labor Day, all Rio Bank locations will be closed on Monday. Sept. 7th. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 8.

Inspired by the World Cup, The Rio Cup brought Rio Bank employees together for a company-wide trivia competition. After a Jeopardy-style championship matchup featuring our Top 5 finalists, Penelope claimed the title and took home a replica World Cup trophy!

Over the last 10 weeks, Rio Bank has had the pleasure of once again being part of the BankOnInt. Internship Program! With this program, in collaboration with the Edinburg EDC and UTRGV - The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, we’re able to provide guidance and essential knowledge for the future leaders of banking.

We also had the great opportunity of having Jonathan Marquez work with us over the summer and taught him the ins and outs of community banking. We know he will continue to do great work for our community!

This past weekend, our Johnson City team proudly participated in the Blanco County Parade with our "Johnson City-opoly" float, bringing a fun twist to summer days and country ways.

We loved spending time with friends, neighbors, and families while celebrating everything that makes Johnson City such a special place to call home. Thank you to everyone who came out to support this great community event!

This summer, Rio Bank had the great opportunity to welcome five interns from UTRGV - The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, The University of Texas at Austin, and Texas A&M University.
They showed up on day one ready to learn the importance of project management, community outreach and bank lending procedures. Mentoring and supporting the next generation of talent is something we take great joy in!
We’re very grateful for the work our interns have done at Rio Bank and wish them the best in their futures - we’re very excited to see what they do next!
