Today we had a great Pie and Policy evening at Hunters Honey Farm! Tracy Hunter provided an excellent tour and some delicious honey to try. Thanks again for hosting us!

Afterwards we consumed some delicious pie and ice cream and discussed important policy resolutions we would be supportive of.

Thanks to everyone who came out and provided resolutions and those who provided the yummy pies!

This week is Indiana Agriculture Literacy Week. Morgan County Farm Bureau is celebrating with Donations of the 2026 Indiana Farm Book of the Year, The Pie That Molly Grew, to each Morgan County Elementary School.

In addition to the books, the board sent the newly updated Indiana Ag Mag to each 3rd grade classroom. For students to read and take home to share with their families the importance of agriculture in Indiana.

Morgan County Farm Bureau Board President, Patrick Maxwell delivered the Book of the Year to Indian Creek Intermediate School.

Morgan County Farm Bureau will award two $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors that have the following qualifications:

1. Morgan County resident
2. 6 or more years of 4-H participation
3. A parent or grandparent has been a Morgan County Farm Bureau member for 2 or more years
