For a decade, the Martinsville Youth Development Center (MYDC) has provided a safe and supportive place where local students can learn, grow, build confidence, and develop skills that help shape their future. Through after-school programs, homework assistance, mentorship, fitness activities, and life skills education, the organization has become an important resource for many young people in our community.

This year, the center faced a significant challenge when its aging heating and cooling system reached the end of its life. Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment is essential to the programs and opportunities MYDC provides, making replacement of the system a critical need.

Community partners stepped up to help make the project possible, including nearly $18,000 in donated labor and installation support. Home Bank was honored to contribute more than $27,000 toward the effort and support MYDC's continued investment in local youth. We're grateful for the work MYDC does every day to make a difference in the lives of young people throughout our community.

Please join us in congratulating Kayla Clouse on her 2-year anniversary with Home Bank!

Growing up in the area has given Kayla a unique opportunity to connect with customers through shared experiences, local events, and conversations that help people feel welcome and understood. "Being able to make someone's day even slightly better is always a great feeling," Kayla shared.

Greenwood Branch Manager Allyson Vining says Kayla brings a cheerful, bubbly attitude to work each day and is always willing to jump in and lend a hand. She consistently goes the extra mile to meet customer needs while helping create the personal connections that make community banking special. Whether she's assisting customers, supporting teammates, or sharing stories about life in the community, Kayla makes a positive difference every day.

Please join us in congratulating Lisa Stephenson on 20 years with Home Bank!

A lifelong Martinsville resident, Lisa loves being part of a hometown bank that serves the community she calls home. While much of her work happens behind the scenes, she enjoys every opportunity to connect with customers and help them get what they need. What she values most, though, is the team she works alongside every day. "I consider everyone on my team and this bank as my family," Lisa shared.

Throughout her 20 years at Home Bank, Lisa has demonstrated a strong commitment to growth and leadership, participating in the Kris Gill Servant Leadership Committee, graduating from Morgan County Leadership Academy (MCLA), and completing the Indiana Bankers Association's Emerging Leaders Digital Program. According to Amy Cole, VP/Loan Operations Manager, Lisa's attention to detail, extensive mortgage operations knowledge, and dedication to both customers and coworkers make her an invaluable member of the team.
