"I wanted to share a few pictures of the flame sculpture that now tops the new fountain at the levee. Due to the height and the fact that the light fixture hasn’t arrived yet, it’s hard to really appreciate the color and the finish so I wanted to post some better pictures. I want to thank my wife Debbie for picking out the awesome “Whiskey Bronze” color for the sculpture. These close ups highlight the superb job that Paige Griffith at IonX Coatings and Fuels did in applying 3 “hot coats” of whiskey bronze powder to the 1/4” steel sculpture!"

🚨 FESTIVAL REMINDER: RULES & REGULATIONS 🚨

As we welcome everyone to the 50th Ohio River Sternwheel Festival, please help us keep the festival grounds safe and enjoyable for everyone! ⚓🎉

🐾 No pets are allowed on festival grounds. Service dogs are permitted. Thank you for your understanding.

🍺 No alcoholic beverages are permitted (with exception of DORA).

🚲 No bikes, skateboards, roller blades, etc. are allowed on festival grounds.

🌊 No swimming is permitted in the Ohio River.

⛺ No tents or canopies may be erected on festival grounds.

🪑 Blankets and chairs must be taken with you each night. Please do not leave them unattended or overnight on the levee bank.

♿ Handicapped parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis at 2nd and Greene Street. Spaces are limited, so please plan accordingly.

🚗 Please observe all permanent and temporary parking notices. Violators are subject to towing.

🚫 No solicitation of any kind is permitted without ORSF consent.

⚠️ The ORSF Committee reserves the right to establish additional rules as needed for the safety of our visitors.

✈️🎆 Behind the Scenes of Our 50th Anniversary Spectacular! 🎆✈️

The excitement is building for an unforgettable night at the 50th Ohio River Sternwheel Festival!

Fireworks Chairman Dennis Blauser and his son, Airshow Coordinator Matthew Blauser, are meeting with Airshow Pilot Bob Carlton to coordinate this year’s incredible fireworks airshow presented by Vertigo Airshows.

🔥 Pyro show will light up the sky as the opening act for our fabulous fireworks show—bringing aviation, lights, and excitement over the Ohio River before the fireworks begin!

A lot of planning and coordination goes on behind the scenes to make a production like this possible, and we can’t wait for you to see what this team has in store for our 50th anniversary celebration!
