September 8–11, we’re celebrating the hardworking members who built us — and we’d love for you to stop by your local BTCU branch and join us!

BTCU had a great time supporting Sprinkler Fitters Local 417 at their annual Golf Tournament! Matt Ball, Jack Sanders, and Alyson Moss represented Building Trades Credit Union alongside our friend Marvin Romero from Cement Masons Local 633.

Thank you to Sprinkler Fitters Local 417 for having us and for putting together another great event. We’re always proud to get out and support the hardworking men and women of the building trades. 💪

Just down the road from BTCU in Shoreview is one of Minnesota's premier apprenticeship training facilities.. Sprinkler Fitters Local 417 JATC.

Inside these walls, apprentices develop the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to install and maintain the fire protection systems that safeguard Minnesota's schools, hospitals, businesses, apartment buildings, and industrial facilities. Through classroom instruction and real-world training, they're preparing for careers dedicated to protecting lives and property.

The training center also provides continuing education for experienced journeymen, reinforcing a commitment to lifelong learning and craftsmanship.

⛳ Building community, one swing at a time!

Yesterday, BTCU was proud to participate in the Int'l Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 82 PATCH Day Golf Fundraiser, joining approximately 240 teams in support of their Painters and Allied Trades Children's Hope Foundation. What an incredible turnout and an amazing display of generosity from our union community!

A heartfelt thank you to IUPAT District Council 82 for hosting another outstanding event and for your continued commitment to giving back. We're honored to support a cause that brings hope and assistance to families when they need it most.

BTCU was proud to participate in the BAC LOCAL 1 - Minnesota/North Dakota/South Dakota Annual Golf Day last Saturday!

Our team had the opportunity to golf alongside Marvin Romero from Local 633 Cement Masons, Plasterers & Shophands and two of their contractor partners. It was a fantastic day filled with great conversations, new connections, and PLENTY of laughs.

One of the highlights was seeing so many familiar faces stop by our new BTCU tent to say hello and snap a few photos.

Moments like these remind us that our partnerships extend far beyond banking.. they're built on trust and showing up for one another.

Thank you to BAC Local 1 for hosting another wonderful event. We appreciate the opportunity to support our union partners and look forward to seeing everyone again soon!

When people hear "Boilermaker," they often picture someone working on boilers. The reality? Their work is far bigger than that.

The members of Boilermakers Local 647 are the skilled professionals who fabricate, install, repair, and maintain the massive pressure vessels, tanks, piping systems, and industrial equipment that keep power plants, refineries, manufacturing facilities, and countless other industries operating safely.

It all starts at their training center in Ramsey, where apprentices and journeyworkers continuously sharpen their craft through hands-on training in welding, rigging, blueprint reading, and precision fabrication.

For nearly 90 years, Local 647 has been building more than careers, they've been building a legacy of craftsmanship that reaches across Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
