Congrats to a great friend on the new home! Excited to officially welcome Shirley Medina to our team!

Shirley joined Northwestern Mutual in 2024 and has quickly become someone people across our Manhattan Beach office know they can count on. She started as a Client Experience Coordinator and Executive Assistant to our Managing Director before expanding her role to support contracting and licensing across the office.

Now, as our Director of Operations and Client Experience, Shirley is bringing that same drive, attention to detail, and care for people to our team and our clients.

A fellow UC Berkeley grad, Shirley is endlessly curious, always ready to take on a new challenge, and genuinely invested in the people around her. Outside of work, you’ll usually find her staying active, planning her next trip, or tracking down a great new restaurant.

We’re lucky to have her in our corner and excited for what’s ahead. Welcome to the team, Shirley!
