It’s that time of year, and we could not resist. The mortgage world has its own version of tricks and treats, and knowing which is which can save you a lot more than a bag of candy.

The treats are the moves that actually work in your favor, like locking in your rate at the right time, using seller concessions to cover closing costs, or finding out there is a loan program built specifically for your situation.
