Taking a break from our regularly scheduled content to share a moment of mirth: Every time we call a carrier for something we have to identify who we are, which usually includes the agency name. We had to make such a call about two weeks ago, and the rep on the other end asked us to identify the agency.

I cheerfully told them our name, and they responded with "I was so hoping that was actually your agency name. That's so fun! I wanted to hear you say it." Making folks' day simply by announcing ourselves? Sure! Done. We don't just have a fun name, though. We also have a great array of carrier options and do our best to deliver on that promise, every day.

We are here, with more fun to be had. We have carriers that cover dogs without breed restrictions (like mine!) and we can handle flat/low slope roofs, claims issues, teen drivers, and all manner of home and auto needs.

We even have some great rate *reductions* coming through on multiple fronts as the carriers assess and file. We are looking at all the policies as they come up for renewal to make sure they are where they can do the best work for the least cost. Would love to help you! It's a great time to be with our agency.

Friends! Clients! People who just stumbled upon our page and are trying to figure out what the heck we do!!! This is for you.

Take a moment to locate and assemble all your portable battery units. All over the house, garage... And everywhere else. Dig them out of purses, backpacks, and bags.

Inspect them all, and if you find any bulging, or suspicious looking ones, determine where you can safely dispose of them and when. Bulging lithium batteries are a huge fire danger and we hate it when homes burn down due to any cause, but really hate it when they are preventable.

They might look like this one that I found in our lot of batteries today. It's four years old and was part of our kit for a conference that I attended in 2022.

There is seriously nothing special or weird or poor quality about it. That's just where this one came from. If you were at the same one I was at, in Chicago in 2022, you probably have one or more of them as well. Check them! Any others that have this sort of bulging to them need to be disposed of safely and quickly.
