One of the highlights of Executive Council Step-In was the opportunity to connect with so many incredible people from across New York Life.

It was a pleasure getting to meet and talk with Jason Leonard and Jacob Godwin. I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn from leaders within our company and to be surrounded by so many people who continue to challenge and inspire me to grow.

Definitely one of the experiences I’ll take with me as I continue building my career with New York Life.

Three times in two weeks... I think I was supposed to hear this message.

I had the opportunity to meet Brendon Elliot in Kentucky the week before Executive Council and then hear from him again in Denver.

What stuck with me most was his approach to time and effort: track your goals, be intentional with your time, and don’t confuse working more with working better.

But hearing his story made it even better. Success wasn’t a straight line, and he was very open about the setbacks and challenges that came before it.

It was a pleasure getting to know you, Brendon. After hearing this message three times, I’m officially out of excuses for not managing my calendar better.

Jesse Itzler was another one of my favorite speakers at Executive Council.

He talked about intentionally putting yourself in rooms with the people you want to learn from, work with, and build relationships with.

But my favorite part was much simpler... whatever you decide to do, put your whole soul into it.
