🏆Honoring Those Who Go Above and Beyond!

On Thursday we recognized Detective Breann Bellio of the Arvada Police Department as one of our four 2026 Unparalleled Community Impact Award (UCIA) recipients! 👏

As an Elder Abuse Detective, Breann has dedicated herself to protecting some of our community’s most vulnerable residents from financial fraud and exploitation.

💙 Through her determination and investigative work, she has helped recover almost $300,000 for elderly fraud victims, giving many individuals and families a renewed sense of security and hope.

From educating financial institutions on fraud prevention to mentoring fellow officers, Breann continues to make a difference both inside and outside her department.

Detective Bellio, thank you for your compassion, dedication, and commitment to protecting our Colorado communities. Your work is a wonderful example of what the UCIA stands for!

This past weekend, Affidian Credit Union had a blast at Aurora's first-ever Hometown Heroes Day at the Town Center at Aurora!

The event brought together local first responders, families, and community organizations for an afternoon of fun, activities, and appreciation for those who work hard to keep our communities safe.

We had a great time handing out prizes, meeting new faces, and getting to know some of the incredible first responders and community members who make Aurora such a special place.

💙 A huge thank you to the Aurora Colorado Police Department for putting this event together! It's always a pleasure getting out into the community, having some fun, and showing our appreciation for the people who do so much for Colorado.
