Whether you're a lifelong resident or new to our community, it's important to know what's on the ballot and where to vote!
📅 **Tuesday, November 3, 2026**
🕖 **Polls Open: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM**
📍 **A FEW THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:**
✅ **Know your polling location!** On Election Day, you must vote at your assigned precinct.
✅ **Bring your photo ID!** Georgia requires an acceptable form of photo identification.
✅ **Review your sample ballot!** Take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the candidates and questions before heading to the polls.
🏡 **HENRY COUNTY VOTERS — THERE'S A LOCAL ISSUE ON THE BALLOT!**
One of the questions voters will consider is the **Floating Local Option Sales Tax (FLOST)** referendum.
This proposal would establish a 1% sales tax for five years, with the revenue designated to reduce property taxes imposed by Henry County and the cities of Hampton, Locust Grove, McDonough, and Stockbridge.
Take time to understand what a YES or NO vote means and how the proposal would work.
