Since 1938, Garden Island Federal Credit Union has been providing financial services to our members. What started as a small group of employees from Lihue Plantation Company, Kauai Sugar Storage, Lihue Shopping Center and Lihue Industrial Park, we have grown and became a vital and dynamic financial institution. Today, we are proud to continue to serve the unique needs of the residents on Kauai and

their immediate family members. Our mission is to provide our members with the best assistance and services to meet their financial needs. As a not-for-profit credit union, we strive to do what’s right for our membership as a whole so we can bring real value to each and every member. We offer loans with affordable rates and manageable terms and we build financial security by providing a safe place for our member-owners to deposit savings and earn higher dividends. Our members will always be at the forefront of our minds, at the same time, we are attentive and sensitive to the specific needs of the community in which we are part of that is why Garden Island Federal Credit Union continues to partner annually with different community organizations to help support all of their many programs to serve the people on our island. We will continue to serve all of our members with equal dignity because every single member matter at Garden Island Federal Credit Union and we are grateful and thankful for your continued trust and loyalty to your financial garden for life.
