We are excited to welcome Payton Fletcher to the UCG & PRM team!

Payton serves as a Crop Insurance Processor while also supporting social media, marketing, and communication efforts.

A little about Payton:
“I am originally from Van Alstyne, TX, and moved to Lubbock in 2020 to attend Texas Tech University. In 2024, I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communications and decided to stay in West Texas to pursue a career path within the agricultural industry.

Although most of my background has been in the livestock industry, growing up in a small rural town, along with my time in West Texas and experience in agricultural lending, have given me a real appreciation for the farming industry and the communities that support it.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and photography/videography. I am excited to be joining this team and look forward to building relationships and contributing wherever I can!”

We are excited to have Payton on board and look forward to the many ways she will contribute to both UCG and PRM.

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

We are grateful for their sacrifice and the freedoms they helped protect. From all of us at United Cotton Growers Cooperative, we wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

Our office will be closed, with normal business hours to resume Tuesday, May 26th.

Congratulations to the Rodgers Family.

For the Rodgers Family, roots run deep in Texas agriculture. AgTexas Customers Monty and Cheri Rodgers of Whitharral, TX were presented with the Family Land Heritage Certificate by the Texas Department of Agriculture. Rodgers Farms has been in the family for 100 years.

FSA is issuing a second economic assistance payment to agricultural producers through the Emergency Commodity Assistance Program (ECAP).

Payments will automatically be made to producers with approved ECAP applications who received an initial payment. These economic relief payments are based on planted and prevented planted crop acres for eligible commodities for the 2024 crop year. Of the authorized $10 billion in ECAP assistance, FSA has already provided over $8 billion in payments to producers to mitigate the impacts of increased input costs and falling commodity prices.
