If we haven’t met yet, hi, I’m Jennifer Morris, owner and mortgage loan officer with Corinthian Mortgage Group.
With some exciting things happening for our little brokerage lately, I thought this might be the perfect time to reintroduce myself—and share a little about why Corinthian exists in the first place.
My career didn’t begin in mortgages.
I spent more than 20 years in finance, HR, and operations. Then in 2019, just before the world changed with COVID, I made a major career change and landed in the wholesale mortgage space.
And somewhere along the way, I realized I had found what I was supposed to be doing.
I loved wholesale because it gave me options. Instead of being tied to one lender, I could look at different lending solutions, guidelines, and strategies and work to find the right fit for the person sitting across from me.
Because I learned very quickly:
No two people are alike. No two financial stories are alike. And no two mortgages are exactly alike.
In 2025, my husband and I took another leap of faith and opened Corinthian Mortgage Group.
Our goal was never to become the biggest mortgage company.
We wanted to build the kind of brokerage we would want our own family to call—local, accessible, knowledgeable, willing to think outside the box when a loan requires a little extra strategy, and genuinely invested in the people we serve.
And that brings me to something that has left us feeling incredibly blessed and humbled.
This year, Corinthian Mortgage Group has been nominated and named a Top 3 finalist in BOTH communities where we have locations:

For a brokerage that opened its doors in April 2025, it’s difficult to put into words what that means to us.
