Our rangers are bringing you a full month of hands‑on adventures, including various exciting evening hikes like a hike under the stars, an evening photography walk, or an adventurous scorpion search night hike. Drop in for daily window talks that showcase the canyon’s magic, test your skills at Red Rock Trivia, or bring the whole family to Frogs & Froglets or the Red Rock Junior Rangers Speaker Series. However you like to connect with your public lands, September is filled with moments waiting to be shared.

It is recommended to wear sunscreen, appropriate footwear, bring a hat, sunglasses, and plenty of water. Join us in congratulating Richelle, a talented local artist, in becoming the Fall 2026 Artist-in-Residence at Red Rock Canyon NCA. 🎨✨
Richelle creates high-relief, mixed-media abstractions inspired by geology, astronomy, and natural systems. She seeks to inspire curiosity about the landscape and reflection on our relationship with the Earth and its changing ecosystems. Her residency at Red Rock Canyon will allow her to explore the region’s geology and translate its formations, textures, and deep history into new work.
We can’t wait to see how her creativity will highlight the beauty of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Stay tuned for more details on upcoming workshops and an art showcase event!
