The Gulf system is now up to a 70% chance of development in the next 2 days. The NHC mentions Tropical Storm Watches or Warnings may be needed for portions of Texas and Louisiana coasts later tonight or tomorrow. Regardless if this one develops, heavy rainfall is expected for the area.

Dolly remnants still remain at a low 20% chance of development over the 7 days. Will keep watching as it moves into the southeastern Gulf the middle of this week.

TROPICS | That system in the Atlantic looks more organized this morning and the NHC is watching it closely. Advisories may begin today. Shear would still weaken the storm before it reaches the islands. The remnant low or wave would still travel toward the Bahamas and we'll keep and eye on it. Not worried about it right now.
