I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for allowing me to be an integral part of your Medicare decision making process throughout these past 15 years. With a heart full of gratitude, I want each of you to know how much you have meant to me.

The time has come for me to retire and hang up my insurance hat. Many of you know my dad brought me into the Medicare insurance field at the same time I was working in surgery , which I did for 25 years. I truly have loved every minute of it. My dad taught me everything he knew as an agent. He taught me to always be ethical, have morals, and to always put the client’s needs first above everything. I feel I have made him proud, and I am so thankful to God we had the opportunity to work together as a team for the short time he was here. He was an awesome mentor, teacher and above all, father.

There will be an agency taking over my clientele called Health Plus Advisors out of Lakeland. I have known Parker and Chris, the 2 managing partners for many years and I am confident they will provide the same level of service I have provided you for the past 15 years. They not only offer UnitedHealthcare, but they also offer other insurance companies as well if your needs may change. You will be receiving a welcome letter from them soon.

I write this letter with so many emotions. Most of you are not just my client, but my friend also. I pray sincerely for all of you for good health and happiness in the future.

Medicare Part B premium is $202.90/base per month, unless you have a higher income.
A Deductible -$1736/ benefit period
B Deductible- $283/year

Please be aware! I keep posting things like this because I get calls daily on this! Do not open your door for doorknockers!!! Agents are not allowed to come to you unsolicited. (illegal🚩)!!! I had a couple in my office yesterday saying they let 2 ladies in that knocked on their door saying they are from Medicare (illegal 🚩), and wanted to talk to them about their plan, guess what? They ended up signing something (they didn't know what) and giving them all their information!!!!!! ...now they are in a plan they have no idea what company or plan, they didn't leave their business card or any information on what they "enrolled" in or who they were...((illegal 🚩) the gentleman stated to me he didn't feel good about it.....we have to give you your enrollment materials and an enrollment receipt when you enroll.... please people... think about what you are doing, now I have to go and figure out which company they enrolled in and if those people took them out of their Medicare Supplement and put them in a plan that doesn't fit their needs, this will be taking about 2 hours of my time. When I find out who they are I will be reporting them to the state, this has to stop somehow! STOP AND THINK ..

Scammers are extra busy during . They may pretend to be from Medicare to try to steal your personal info – or even enroll you in a plan without your knowledge.

Pros of a Medicare Supplement/medigap plan :

No networks as long as you go to a Medicare provider,
Pays out of pocket costs after original Medicare,
No prior authorizations.

Cons:
Monthly premiums, which can increase annually.
No extra coverage like vision and hearing
No drug coverage, so you need a separate drug plan , which could be another monthly premium.

Pros of a Medicare Advantage Plan :

max out of pocket limits,
$0 - low monthly premium,
hospital/medical /drug coverage.

Cons:
Copays/coinsurance which can fluctuate annually
provider networks,
pre-approval on some services...

FYI- If you decide to go back to original Medicare, there are deductibles that you will have for Part A -hospital every benefit period and a Part B- medical deductible once a year- then 20% ALL YEAR long... there is no cap. Just to inform y'all...oh, and you need a drug plan!!.
I will post those 2026 figures when we get them, usually in mid-November
