Yesterday’s heat index reached 104 degrees, so the cooler evening air was definitely welcome.

Even with the heat, my heart was full watching my son, Luqman, umpire a baseball game at the Kansas City MLB Urban Youth Academy. He grew up playing through the RBI program as a left-handed pitcher, so seeing him return and give back to the same community that helped shape him was a proud moment.

Sometimes the best full-circle moments happen right where it all began.

A fun little surprise from my grandson RJ! ⚽️💙

He was at the Sporting KC game last night at Children’s Mercy Park—and got to see a great win for Sporting Kansas City!

While he was there, he spotted the Central Bank banner on the field and sent me these photos saying he saw my work. 😂 I had to let him know that yes, Central Bank has a banner there!

I love getting to see him enjoy such a fun night—and I love that he was thinking of me while he was there. Thanks for the pictures, RJ!
