I was scheduled to attend a networking event this morning, but instead I was at the doctor getting stitches removed from a recently cleared melanoma spot and having four additional spots removed and tested.

I don't know what was more exciting—getting all the thank-you texts from everyone for sponsoring the coffee while not even being there, or playing "Keepy Uppy" with a glove balloon with Amelia while waiting an hour for the doctor to finally come into the room. 😂 (find in the comments).

Either way, moments like today remind me that joy can be found in the most unexpected places. When you choose to find the good in every situation, it just makes life a little easier.

I'm incredibly thankful for the relationships, friendships, and support system that surround me every day. The texts, encouragement, and kindness mean more than you know.
