The Jackson County Farm Bureau, in collaboration with the Jackson County Young Farmers, Jackson County Cattlemen Association, and the Jackson County Extension Service, hosted their annual farm tour. The event commenced with a breakfast and a guided tour of J & J Farm in Jefferson, followed by a tour of the Wayne Sanderson Poultry Processing Plant in Pendergrass, and concluded with lunch and a tour of Elrod Farm in Talmo. We extend our sincere gratitude to our hosts for their hospitality. The event was attended by notable guests including Dawn Maddox, Jefferson Mayor, Ward Black, JCFB Legislative Chair, Holt Persinger, State Representative, Sheriff Kevin McCook, Chad Bingham, State Representative Elect, and Timothy Barr, District Director for Congressman Andrew Clyde.

The Georgia Farm Bureau marked February 10th as Georgia Farm Bureau Day at the Capitol, where over 560 members promoted agricultural advocacy and highlighted the importance of supporting Georgia's farm families to lawmakers. Jackson County Farm Bureau was well represented by local GFB Federation Staff and AGvocates.
